Mickey Mouse is one of the most recognizable figures in all the world. He was created by Walt Disney in 1928 and made his big-screen debut in "Steamboat Willie". Originally named "Mortimer Mouse", Walt changed the character's name to "Mickey" at his wife's suggestion. Over 75 years after his creation, Mickey Mouse continues to be the unofficial mascot for the Walt Disney Company. |
