Walter Elias Disney was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago. Better known as Walt Disney, he created one of the worlds greatest entertainment companies along with his brother Roy Disney. Walt�s most popular creation was Mickey Mouse, who continues to be the most recognized cartoon character in the world today. Walt released his first full-length feature animation "Snow White" in 1937 and it was an instant classic. Walt was also responsible for brining Disneyland to life and subsequently Walt Disney World. Unfortunately, he passed away on December 15, 1966, before seeing the completion of Walt Disney World. |
